Our pets are family. They deserve the best!
Pet care experience
I have grown up surrounded by pets and I adore them! I believe in giving pets the best possible care as they are all such wonderful, unique personalities! I love going for long countryside walks in all weathers and can’t wait for your dog to join me! I have volunteered by dog walking for elderly people in my community as a teenager. I am also happy to help and have experience with training puppies and taking care of our elderly friends!
Reviews
Really good, was happy to meet Scout before and lots communicate during and after the walk.
Catherine is a 5* animal lover who will give your dog or cat 5* attention! She is reliable, trustworthy and responsible with lots of experience taking dogs for lovely walks. She has loved and cared for her 16 year old rescue cat for 14 years. I can highly recommend Catherine, I know that she will take great care of your pet.

Safety, trust & environment
I am able to provide my DBS certificate and I have insurance. My own pets and those I have cared for in the past have always received the best possible care and attention, and all have led full, happy, and longer than average lives! I believe in talking to them, playing with them, and lots of cuddles! I love taking dogs for long, fun-filled countryside walks and I always go at their pace so there is time for exploring and play! If they come home wet I always rub them down and make sure they are warm and comfortable, with enough water before I leave.
Information Catherine G. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if it is appropriate to let your dog off the lead or not! Most of my walks are in peaceful areas, but I would really appreciate knowing if your dog needs to be walked somewhere we won’t come across anyone else! Please let me know whether your dog is spayed/neutered so I am aware of how this may affect their behaviour! Please also let me know if your dog is heat-sensitive so I can ensure they aren’t over-exerted and I will also make sure I take them to cooler areas. I am happy to walk dogs with extra needs - please let me know their requirements and how I can keep them happy and safe!
A typical day
Your dog will have the time of their life with me! We will walk through fields and forests in our lovely countryside, and even have a swim if their grown ups are happy for them to! Walks depend on the home location of the dog, but I have a vast awareness of the local countryside walks! If they are a more reserved character, I am happy to take time to bond with them at home before we go for walkies! The hourly charge does not include travel - your dog will get an hour/half hour walk from the time we reach the destination if travelling by car. (This will be no longer than 15 minutes drive away).

I am fitting in pet care alongside my day job as a librarian! I am available from 5:30pm during the week and any time on Sundays, I am also available during the day every other Tuesday. Please feel free to message me for availability! Earliest pick up/visit will be 8am, latest is an hour before sunset - regretfully I do not offer walks after sunset for safety! I am happy to do drop in visits until 8pm. NB - I am happy to drop in on our bunny friends as well! (£10 per hour).
