I’ve grown up with dogs as part of my family since I was born. My mom worked in an animal shelter so I’ve had experience with a wide range of dog breeds and temperaments including: Chihuahuas, Dalmatians, Labs, Golden Retrievers, Terriers, Dachshunds, and other mixed breeds. Our family chihuahua birthed 2 litters of pups and we raised both litters into adulthood. My recent experience caring for dogs includes fostering dogs until they are adopted. I have been a Rover sitter since December 2020 and I love it so much! About me: I am a gig worker: dog sitter/walker, babysitter, personal shopper, and food deliverer. My schedule is flexible, and on days that I have Rover visitors, my full attention is given to your furry friend. I live with my boyfriend, and he works from home full-time so your pet will never be left alone. My boyfriend has also grown up with dogs as part of his family since he was a child. He has helped me foster dogs and care for Rover visitors throughout my entire time as a Rover sitter. I love to go on walks in the park, hikes, and to the beach so if your pet loves any of those things please let me know! Experience: I have cared for puppies that are partially vaccinated or newly vaccinated so I can keep them away from other dogs if needed. I have cared for senior dogs that are low energy, but enjoy being close to someone. I have cared for energetic dogs that need lots of play time and/or running time. I have cared for dogs that were sick and being nursed back to health before adoption. I am comfortable caring for any age of dog from puppies to senior dogs. I am comfortable administering oral medication to your dog as long as detailed instructions are provided. I will take your dog out to potty every 2-3 hours. I will take your dog for a walk daily. I will treat your furry friend as if it were my own!
