Pet care experience
Hi there! I’m Catherine and I am a Veterinary Technician for over 2 years now. I’ve worked in general practice and also have experience with exotic animals. I grew up in an animal loving home where we rescued animals and nurtured them back to health. We then found them new loving homes and would sometimes have to transport them up North. I am looking for a part time job to add into my life and what better to add than something that involves loving on your fur babies? 🩷 With me being a current veterinary technician, I am trained and can offer medicating your pet if I’m able to do it on my own with no issues - including insulin injections for the diabetics, fluids, oral/ear/eye medication administration. Let me know if this is the case and we can discuss more about it! Additional services: Exotic animal care/feedings/cleanings of habitats : (reptiles, rodents, etc) $15/drop in visit. Catherine was so good to work with. She checked in on my cat a couple of times while I was out of town. She is very responsive and helpful. We had an issue with the automatic cat feeder not working. She noticed and called right away. It turned out our breaker had been off and she was willing to go out of her way to work with us and get it flipped back on (also saving our freezer and fridge food in the process). She is so kind and helpful- we are so thankful we booked her and will definitely book her again.

Let me know if your pet is special needs or has medications to administer. I am able to work with pets that are shy and scared, I will let your pet warm up to me and do my best to care for them. Also if house sitting, I would like to know if your pet can be left alone and if so - is it better to be kenneled or loose in the house?
A typical day
If your pet needs to get their minds off of being alone, during their walk I will allow them to smell around and take them on runs if they would like.

Availability
Current schedule: Since I’m working at my current job full time every weekday afternoon (12:30pm-7pm) and alternating weekends (Saturday 8am-2pm) = I am only available for walks and drop in visits any time from 6am-11am and 7:30ish-8:30ish weekdays and alternating weekends at any time. I am also available for house sitting Friday after 7pm, Saturday and Sunday nights, feel free to check out my schedule to see what weekends I’m available for house sitting. Let me Know what works for you and we can make arrangements. Although my schedule may look blocked out, please ask before hand because I may be able to make arrangements. Thank you!
