I have grown up around dogs and have always had a dog in my life, mainly larger breeds like labrador retrievers and lab mixes. Your dogs truly do become one of the family and I treat them as such. I value giving my dogs a great deal of exercise, love, and training. Not only have I taken care of my own dogs, I have also cared for others' dogs, both large and small. This care includes walks and feeding throughout the day, as well as overnight visits (for sometimes weeks at a time). I have administered medications for dogs I have cared for as well. One of my passions is exercise, and I am an avid runner. If your dog needs a little extra exercise, I am more than capable of going on runs or hikes with your pet. I live near various trails in the Arlington/DC area and love throwing on my waterproof hiking shoes for a long walk! I have an undergraduate degree from the College of William and Mary and am currently studying to become a nurse at George Mason University. Being compassionate and attentive is key in nursing, and I employ those attributes as a dog-sitter as well! I can't wait for the opportunity to exercise, care for, and snuggle with your furry friend!
