Hello! My name is Catherine and I have a great love for animals, especially dogs. I am a Milwaukee native and a student at UW-Milwaukee. Growing up, I frequently dog sat for neighbors, and family, which I still do. I have been walking multiple dogs daily, for quite some time, with another app service called Wag. I would love to expand my client basis even further with Rover! I am familiar with an array of breeds that have different temperaments and exercise needs; from Pit Bulls and German shepherds to Corgis and Chihuahuas, etc. I have experience in dealing with hyperactive and fearful dogs. I have been successful in my techniques that gently calm those that are nervous or timid. I am confident in my ability to identify a dog's triggers and how to address them- The dog's safety comes first. I have a pit bull mix of my own, whom I rescued three years ago, along with a puppy that we recently adopted from the WHS. Walking and caring for dogs is rewarding on many different levels. I look forward to building a relationship with new dogs and their humans through Rover!
