I looked other my neighbours senior border collie who had diabetes when I was 17 and ever since I've loved looking after animals. I don't have a dog of my own but I frequently help my friend in her dog grooming shop bathing and drying a variety of breeds and sizes of dogs. I have looked after a miniature dachshund puppy and also a puppy spaniel who only has one eye so I have a multitude of experience with a range of dogs. I have 2 cats at my parents home and have grown up with cats so also know how to look after them.

Catherine has regularly taken our dog Skye for walks. Skye always comes back from her walks energized and relaxed. Catherine has been professional, punctual and always positive. We get regular updates, photos and videos from Catherine’s walks with Skye. We highly recommend Catherins as a dedicated and loving dog walker. Skye is simply obsessed with her.
I’ve known Catherine for over 15 years and she has always had an unfounded love for animals, especially dogs. I have a dog grooming business which Catherine has helped me with due to her love for dogs, and also my mum owns a dog day care which Catherine has also helped with on numerous occasions and I have absolute confidence and trust in her with all sizes of dogs, including my own 2 dogs (small pomsky and lab) and my partners dogs (which are giant breeds, Newfoundland and leonberger). I would definitely recommend Catherine to anyone looking for a Walker/pet sitter…1000%!

If I'm looking after your dog all day it would be really helpful to know feeding/ walking schedule to not upset their routine too much (especially if they're a puppy). It would be good to know how your dog reacts to other dogs in enclosed and open spaces as well as any traits to watch out for on walks or any indications of behaviours I should be aware of. Please always message first before booking just to double check.
A typical day
I enjoy going on walks myself as it is to new areas or even to Pollok park as its so close by so I would love to take a furry friend with me. In the flat if the dog is not sleeping (I will put a cover on the sofa and let them cuddle with me)! I like to play with them or wrap some treats in a towel or another kind of enrichment game to keep them occupied.

Availability
I have a full time remote job but it finds me out and about frequently across Scotland. Therefore I am usually available only at random days, times, weekends etc. I try to keep my calendar as up to date as possible. I'm happy to do any ad-hoc walking, daycare etc but unfortunately cannot commit to being a regular walker.
