Pet care experience
I have 10+ years of pet ownership experience, growing up and taking care of multiple dogs at a time. From small to large, puppies to older dogs, we had it all and I have been lucky to have every one of our pets. I've walked dogs big and small, well-trained and still learning, so I've gained patience and skills to help make the experience safe for both myself and the dog. I've been around new pets for long periods of time and learned how to carefully engage so everyone is comfortable, safe and happy during the experience. Sometimes pets aren't sure about new people, so I always make sure to use a calming voice, slow movements, and most importantly, read their reactions to my presence. But I often find with patience, a few treats, and a lot of love for pets, most interactions can be enjoyable and result in a great visit.

Catherine has been taking care of my dog for about a year now and treats her like she's part of her family. She is very loving and ensures that Kokopelie is comfortable, taken for walks, lots of play time and snuggles with her while I'm working or on business trips. Catherine is trustworthy, prompt and through, I highly recommend her and she'll keep your fur baby happy and content until you come home.

A typical day
My dog Olive and I typically walk around our own neighborhood, usually within a few miles of our home, and I think that is always a great option as I'm getting to know a dog, and they me. Afterwards, playing tug-of-war and catch is always fun if the dog still has some energy and wants to play!
