I grew up having two labs at all times in my life, and I currently have two mixed lab/pitbulls, who are pictured in my profile - Milo & Marley! Historically, I have boarded dogs at my own home as well as house sat at other people's homes. As of right now, however, I am choosing to only house sit at other people's homes and do drop-in visits. I have boarded and house sat for individuals I've met through Rover as well as outside of Rover. I took a break from Rover over the last few years due to covid, as well as due to raising my own rescue puppies at this time.

Let me know if your animal(s) have any special routines or behaviors I can account for. I have experience administering oral medication and injected medicine (insulin for a diabetic cat), so I am able to manage things of this nature during my stay.
A typical day
I love to stimulate animals both mentally and physically. For dogs, I typically walk them two to three times a day and am also comfortable taking them on hikes, if preferred. I also enjoy to tire them out mentally with games such as tug-a-war, go-fetch, or by teaching them tricks.

Availability
I have a full-time job in finance but am able to work from home twice a week, and have a lenient schedule wherein I can leave the office throughout the day and go let the dogs out or take them for a walk. My work schedule is 7am to 4pm Monday to Friday, and weekends are completely available. I have a very flexible work schedule so I'm able to leave the office (if I'm in that day), and go check on your animal(s). I will also prioritize working from home on the days I am scheduled to dog/cat sit at your home, so I can be with the animal(s) all day and night.
