My first memory of a dog is such a vivid one—I was about three years old and our goofy family dog, Gadget, was running circles around me until I fell to the floor and she covered me in slobbery kisses. From that moment on, I haven’t been able to get enough of dogs, and it’s a good thing, because my family bred Labradors and corgis! I grew up experiencing puppies from the first day they were born and have to say that there is no sight more wonderful than tuckered out pups lounging in the afternoon sun. I spent a great deal of time caring for my family’s pups growing up and that inspired me to pursue pet-care as a profession now as an adult. I also volunteered with the Main Line Animal Rescue, where I socialized dogs and took them walking. MLAR was an incredibly valuable experience—I was often placed with the more challenging dogs because of my ability to sense warning signs of discomfort and could actively diffuse the situation. I knew I was an animal lover before that time, but my experience at MLAR gave me the tools to care for all types of dogs in the way that they deserve. Three words to describe me are honest, diligent and compassionate, and I apply all three of these traits to my pet-sitting business! I promise to treat your dog with the utmost care, love and affection, and during our time together, will focus 100 percent on their needs. I LOVE walking dogs and can handle even the most high energy of pups! Our time together will be a blend of tossing the ball in the backyard, outdoor adventure walks, late afternoon snuggles, evening belly rubs and homemade treats. I mean it when I say that dogs are the best company and are my number one priority! I am extremely detail oriented and love updating my clients with their pup’s activities throughout the day with texts and photos. I am able to keep as much communication going as your comfortable with and am available day and night for my clients...and I will be for you as well! I can’t wait to meet you and your pup!
