Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of dogs my entire life, but started getting paid for it when I was 12 and neighbors would trust me to care for their furry family while away on vacation. Since then I have become more and more invested in the business of taking care of families furry loved ones. I offer dog walking, stop in visits and overnight care, as well as special adventure trips too! I believe that the key indicator of a great pet sitter is their ability to be compassionate while firm, fun-loving and patient. These are all qualities that I possess and I find help me a lot in this business! Hopefully we can meet soon so that we can see if I am the right fit for you and your furry fam!

Cate is so amazing with my dog Ollie ( bichon/maltese/cotón de Tulear mix). I work 12 hour shifts and Cate makes sure Ollie has extra TLC when I’m gone so long. She sends pictures of their walks and take him to the beach and local dog parks, his favorite places! She makes sure he’s dry and cozy on rainy days and has even taught Ollie to like getting dried with the hair dryer. I’m so happy happy I met Cate and it’s obvious how much Ollie loves her by his greetings!

I currently rent and am unable to care for dogs in my own home, however I find this works better for clients and their animals. I prefer staying with your animal in their home where I know they are more comfortable than a strange new place like at a kennel. I take pride in the numerous clients who have trusted me in their homes to take care of their pets while showering them in love and if allowed, treats! I am very communicative throughout the entire process giving updates when I am there and when I leave. I have helped many clients while away on vacation and have received no complaints yet at the level of care, commitment and love that I give to the animals. Anytime I will be working in your home, I do require a free consult where I will come for a tour of all the spaces relevant to me and the care of your animals. At that time we will go over care details and have a meet and greet with your animals to make sure I’m the right fit!

I like to have a list of emergency contacts, any allergies and medications, behavioral issues, as well as commands they respond to. From there we can then discuss feeding plans and procedures as well as their daily schedule and the type of care you need me to provide.
A typical day
Whether it be hikes in the woods, trips to the beach, or play dates at the dog parks I have a plethora of places that your dog will love to adventure! I also am great at playing with your dogs both indoors and outdoors! For long term stays I also offer enrichment activities like puzzles, food games, and more! You can bet your animals will look forward to the time I spend with them!

I work full time in this business but currently have a lot of availability whether you need your dog walked or a home visit throughout the day. I am flexible with scheduling and often times can work around your schedule!
