Former Pro Dog Trainer Now Boarding
Pet care experience
I was a professional dog trainer for 6 years, provided in-home boarding for 10 years, and volunteered with dog rescues for over a decade. I'd love to provide care for your crate-trained canine companion in my dog-friendly home! Note: Currently only accepting returning clients and referrals from returning clients.

Harley always loves visiting Cate. Great updates and fun for my pup.
My Harley was happy and worn out from fun. I loved all the pics. Thank you.

Boarding dogs are crated (with a food toy if appropriate) when I'm not home, typically for short intervals. Otherwise, calm dogs are allowed access to the living areas where they can hang out with me while I work, and more exuberant dogs will be cycled between play and crating through the day. All dogs are fed crated or in separate rooms per their usual feeding schedule.

Information Cate C. would like to know about your pet
I can administer oral meds, if required. I do require dogs that board with me to be crate trained, so that they're happy and comfortable with the routine I offer. I'm happy to follow your feeding schedule. Plan to provide your regular food, so that your dog's tummy isn't upset by changes while he/she stays with me.
A typical day
I keep high energy dogs entertained with play (people and/or dog, as appropriate) and food toys. Walks and short training sessions can be provided for an additional fee. Low key dogs get to hang out with me while I work, cuddling encouraged. I allow dogs on the furniture, so if that's a no-no in your house, I'll make accommodations for your pooch so they're happy and comfortable.

Availability
I am self-employed and work full-time inside my home with flexible hours. Dogs are only left unsupervised for short periods of time and receive attention and play throughout the day. Note: while I am home most of the time, because I do leave the house for errands and personal appointments, I don't accept dogs with separation anxiety. Thank you for your understanding!
