Zoo & Conservation Student!

Pet care experience

Hey y'all! My name is Cat and I'm currently a rising junior at Otterbein University, but I will be in the area for the summer. I'm double majoring in zoo & conservation and biology, as well as double minoring in economics and math. Personally, I have a sand boa snake and a cat at home. However, I do have quite a bit of professional experience as well. While I'm on campus, I work at an exotic vet in the boarding department and with a local pet sitting company. Previous to these jobs, I worked at my local humane society and a dog daycare! I'd love to further discuss what you're looking for in a sitter, and I'm more than happy to answer any questions you may have!

Before moving for college, Cat worked for my local dog daycare and boarding facility. Cat did great! In our play yards, there could be up to 25 dogs in one yard and she would safely manage the yard and assist with entertaining the dogs. Cat was also responsible for feeding procedures and cleaning. Cat is a very reliable and trustworthy individual!

There is a lot to go over before I can confidently care for your pet, so I would love to schedule an in home meeting or at least a phone call to discuss all aspects of care.

I’m happy to take your pet to the dog park or for a walk, I’m happy to even just sit with them and give them pets! Specifics depend on the dog and their personality, but I am happy to spend time with them in whatever capacity is beneficial for them!

I have accepted an internship with the CP zoo within their aquatics department in Waco, TX, so I will be dividing my time this summer between both Waco and LR. I'll be available in Little Rock from May 2nd-June 20th, and I'll be available in Waco from June 25th-August 12th.
