We love non-shedding, hypoallergenic, hair dogs! This includes Portuguese and Irish Water Spaniels, Poodles, most Poodle Mixes, Schnauzers, Maltese, Havanese, Kerry Blue Terriers, Soft Coated Wheaten Terriers, and Lagotto Romagnolos. As one of us has dog allergies we have to really test prior to booking. We both really enjoy walking, playing and petting dogs. There will be no lack of attention here! There are wags all around when returning dogs get to our door. Timing: We both work, one on days, one on evenings, both part time so the dog will be with people most of the time. About my yard Fenced double lot on a terraced hill that is really good for games of chase or hanging around in good weather. They will always be supervised for safety (and fun!)

What a gift to have found this Rover option. Cat and Tari are competent, responsible and WARM. My dog is so comfortable here, and the fenced garden is a terrific option for getting out in addition to walks. And neighborhood dogs are invited by sometimes too....I am just plain grateful to have found this place, and especially these people, who are dog magnets. (And I can stay here in their Airbnb with my dog. My retreat in Seattle, which I keep returning to.)

Medium to Large hair dogs which are Poodles, Portuguese/Irish Water Dogs, Wheaten Terriers, Poodle mixes, Schnauzers, Kerry Blue Terriers, Havanese, Bedlington Terriers, Lagotto Romanolos, Afghan Hounds. Will consider smaller hair dogs if they are not big barkers. If you think your pooch falls in to the Hair category and is not listed, feel free to contact us and we can test the allergy in person/dog.
A typical day
Here's where we'll take our walks Neighborhood walks including both paved streets and unpaved alleys. There is a nearby dog park if the dog likes to do that, too. Your dog's sleeping arrangement On a dog bed/blanket/covered couch. You are welcome to bring their crate if they are more comfortable sleeping in it. Time I'll spend with your dog I will be working half time starting in December 2016. My wife works days so there may be some overlap of alone time.
