The only “Cat” K-9s love!

Pet care experience

For many years, I was a full time nanny and pet sitter for a range of animals and kids of all ages with all various needs. Being a full time honors student at UNC Wilmington and waitress at Tower 7 has strayed me away from the part time job I truly love, taking care of fur babies! I’m hoping Rover will allow to fill some of my free time with the love of your adorable animals. I’m a pre-med student and previous lifeguard so I respond efficiently and calmly to emergency situations. I have cared for dogs as young as 8 weeks to 13 years, so age is but a number to me! I am also open to caring for cats and small animals such as hamsters and guinea pigs, as I own both currently.

Cat was amazing. She was so friendly and such a pleasure to work with. Our dogs loved her and we couldn't have been happier. We would highly recommend Cat!!!

Cat was awesome watching my two big pups! They missed her when she left! Highly recommend Cat for your dog sitting needs!

Cat has been looking after our dachshund, Murphy for about 5 years. She is our "go-to" person when we need someone to take care of our sweet boy when we are away. She is amazing! She is kind, caring and energetic. She loves Murphy and he adores her! He gets so excited to see her. Cat is very responsible, she follows instructions, and I trust her completely. Nothing gives me more peace of mind than knowing that Murphy is in such good hands. Cat is the best.

Cat was a dog sitter for our beloved Lucy (a miniature schnauzer) for several years. When my children were babies and my husband traveled often for work, poor Lucy wasn’t getting the daily walks she needed and deserved as often as we liked, so we asked Cat to help out. Cat was reliable, always on time, and Lucy absolutely loved her and looked forward to their daily walks. Even years later when we got to see Cat on occasion, we could tell sweet Lucy was always so happy to see her!

I would prefer to care for my clients animals in the comfort of their home, mainly because I live with a timid cat and guinea pig. This also allows your fur baby to feel safe in their familiar environment and eliminate the stress/gas miles of taking them to me. I do have a large backyard that my previous roommates black lab loved playing in, so if needed, I’m happy to pick up your pup for some outdoor time there or at many of the local dog parks near my house.

Information Cat D. would like to know about your pet

I’m open to pets of any and all breeds and needs. I am very organized and adaptive so even if your pet has needs that I have never dealt with before, I will assure I am over prepared before I am in charge of your pup. All I ask is that you give me heads up and as much information as you’ll think I’ll need to best care for your pet.

A typical day

I am a very active person myself so I enjoy walking/biking down the trails near my house. I know plenty of fun doggy games for pups of every energy level. Practicing tricks and good behavior is my favorite. I am very creative, a great cuddler, and excited to be new BFFs with your dog!

With school out for the summer, my focus is solely on work right now. I work 4-5 shifts a week as a waitress but my schedule is flexible and shifts do not consume my entire days. (Plus I’d much rather be hanging with precious pups over hangry humans)
