Pet care experience
I’ve had a career in pet grooming for 11 years! Before I started grooming I worked with dogs at a kennel for multiple years as a kennel tech. Along side their daily needs I administered medications and provided water therapy for senior or handicapped dogs. However, the love for animals goes back to childhood when my family lived on a chicken and rabbit farm. This gives me experience with a wide range of animals young and old!

I am very flexible when it comes to special requests! I would love to keep your Friday night ice cream party tradition alive! A drive to your dog’s favorite walking spot is not out of the question. Whatever it takes to make your pet/s as comfortable as possible! Your pet’s comfort, health and safety is my top priority!

Please let me know if there are special activities that your pet is accustomed to doing like special treats after walks or medications they need to take. My goal is to make your pet feel loved and safe while you are away. I am also willing to work with pets with special behavioral needs like leash aggression or a simi-feral cat. I have been working with pets at boarding facilities and grooming salons for many years and am willing to use the knowledge I gained from that time to help your pets in any way I can. So please just be open and honest with theirs and your needs. I will do everything I can to help!
A typical day
I would love to give your pet/ pets what they need according to their energy level, age, size and temperament. So if you have a puppy I would take them out as much as possible to stay on top of potty training but also keep them stimulated. A puppy also needs a lot of attention, there are also dogs that would prefer to be left alone needing nothing more than a good walk in the neighborhood to smell all the smells.

Availability
Caring for pets is what my whole life is about! I am available for sitting and walking and drop ins most days. All I ask is for a couple days off, and if I’m being honest I might even be ok with a walk or two even on those days.
