Pet care experience
I've had at least two cats my whole life, and know that though they're viewed as more "low maintenance" than dogs they require a lot of love and attention (and get they get VERY testy when you leave them alone for the day lol). I moved to LA from my hometown and couldn't bring my childhood cats with me, so I'm looking to help out with other's fur babies! In addition to taking care of cats at home, I also functioned as a foster cat home for a year in college (which I loved!!). I respect each cat's individual personality and I hope I can make yours happy and comfortable while you're away!

At my client's house I will care for the animals exactly how they inform me too! I can bring over treats and toys (no catnip, unless requested), or I can use the one the kitty feels most comfortable with. I've had both long and short haired cats, so I can do sanitary cuts if needed! I think the best way to calm a cat is letting it sniff you and then slowly petting it (if they allow you to)!

I can administer skin-based medicine/ oral medication to your cats (just let me know ahead of time). I've been giving my parent's elderly female cat oral steroids for a year, so I'm a pro!
A typical day
Toy time is always a must!! I love also just hanging out with the cats and making sure they have plenty of food and water. Honestly, I think just talking to them is great too, as they usually get a little lonely during the day!
