Pet care experience
I’m currently a college student and work as a veterinarian assistant at a small animal clinic. I also have a bachelors of science in animal science from Michigan State University. I’m incredibly passionate about animal welfare. Throughout the past 11 years I’ve worked with a wide range of animals (cats, dogs, horses, goats - you name it) with all different personalities. I also have pets of my own - several cats and my 2 year old Labrador, Max! He stays at his Grammy’s house when I’m Rovering. I’m open to house/pet sitting, doing drop-in visits or walking your pups when needed! Availability may change week to week.

Cassie was amazing! When we first met she asked lots of thoughtful questions to get to know my pets and during her stay she sent me pictures daily- keeping me updated on how well they fed and what they did together.
We had an absolutely perfect experience with Cassie! Her professionalism from the beginning of booking was a great sign for us to book with her. Then she totally wow’ed us with her absolute passion and love for caring for animals. She treated our two dogs with so much love, attention and care! It was so evident in our dogs’ behavior when we returned. One of our dogs tends to be exhausted upon our return due to anxiety, but he was just as happy and energetic as ever. Cassie’s daily updates were so thorough we really didn’t have to worry or wonder ever! AND THE PICTURES!!! She sends honestly the best pictures I’ve been of our pups that I will probably frame :) they showcase how happy and well taken care of they are. Lastly, having her staying in our home while we were away was a perfect addition! She kept everything so clean and neat that we returned to a relaxing home. We truly cannot think of a better experience for us, our home, and especially our dogs. Thank you Cassie!!!
Wasn’t enough stars so had to stop at 5. Cassie was an amazing house sitter, or as the dogs now know her as “Auntie Cassie”. Pictures and updates throughout the day. Professional, courteous and respectful. 10 STARS in our minds and definitely would recommend and will be repeat customers when schedules align again. She is awesome 100%
Cassie is an absolute gem and a true dog whisperer! We instantly knew our dog, Duke, was in the best of hands. Cassie's attentiveness and genuine love for animals shone through immediately. She kept us updated with adorable photos and anecdotes, ensuring that we never felt far from our furry family member. Cassie's professionalism, kindness, and outstanding care truly set her apart. We cannot recommend her highly enough and are already planning our next vacay so Duke can have another Cassie play-date. Thank you, Cassie, for being so amazing!

My veterinarian assistant background has prepped me for emergencies if they do arise when you are out of your home - I do know dog first aid and CPR. I also am able to assist with any specialty care like giving fluids if needed or medications.

Please let me know if your dog has any dietary restrictions or allergies I should be aware of. If your pet is on any oral or injectable medications I can also be of service but, please let me know in advance. Please also let me know of any routines your pet has in terms of feedings, exercise and or play. Lastly, I would love to set up a meet and greet if possible for any house/pet sitting bookings.
A typical day
I love to make sure pets I’m watching have an interactive environment around them. Playing fetch, going on walks or making lick matts (with your permission of course) are all great ways to stimulate their brains and make sure they are staying active in their day-to-day life.
