Hi, my name is Cassie. I love animals and have a passion for them living happy, healthy, amazing lives! I am 31 years old, I graduated in December of 2014 with a BA in Theology. I just recently got back from living in Northeastern Africa working with refugees. Due to this transition, my availability is incredibly flexible. I grew up always having at least on dog at home (many different breeds). We had a German Shepherd when I was younger that protected me and my siblings on many occasions. Owning dogs has been a huge part of my life. We moved around Colorado as a family a lot, from living in the mountains where our dogs could roam free, towards the city with much smaller yards. I know and love the adventure of ensuring that dogs get enough exercise wherever they live. I have experience (and love) training puppies as well as caring for older dogs. I am excited for the privilege of running, walking playing and caring for your dogs!

Cassie was wonderful and spent a lot of time with the dogs. She is quick to respond and sent a lot of pics while we were on vacation. Came home to the house looking better than when I left!! Will use her again in the future!!

This is the second time Cassie has sat for us and both times she has been amazing. She takes great care of our pup and cockatiels. I love that she sends pictures and updates. Also, the house is clean and in order when we return.
Cassie is beyond amazing!! She cared for my two needy dogs for a week while I was out of town. She gave me plenty of updates on how the boys were doing, sent me adorable pictures, noticed and treated a tiny limp on my dog and got to know their little quirks really quickly. She went way above and beyond in caring for my dogs and my home. I cannot say enough about the excellent care Cassie provided. Hands down, she is the very best!!

I make sure that your pets are safe and happy every time I come to see them. If you have an older dog or cat, or one that needs a bit more attention because of surgery recovery or some kind of special need, I take the care details really seriously to ensure their safety and happiness. With puppies, I like to make sure I am keeping your training consistent, so I love to know what you are training them in and what commands you use so that I can reinforce it all. I am ultimately here to support you!

I have the most experience with German Shepherds, Basinjis, Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, Labradoodles, Blue Heelers, Labradors, and Pitbull mixes. That being said, I am happy to care for any breed. The things I most want to know about before sitting are: any medical conditions or medications, previous training and hopes for future training, age of dog(s), and any special care expectations.
A typical day
Part of the adventure of being a dog sitter and walker is finding new trails to forge and new (safe) areas to explore. We will walk, we will run, we will play. I can even teach them new tricks, leash train them, or maintain and remind your furry friends of past training. I am here to come alongside you- to help with the challenges of owning dogs/cats and to care for them so that you can be away worry free!

I am working part-time, so my schedule is pretty flexible! I just got married, so I am not doing any housesitting jobs, but I love dog walks and drop ins!
