Pet care with a professional.
Pet care experience
I am a ER Veterinary Technician with 4 years of experience. But I have had all kinds of different animals my entire life. I can’t choose a favorite between dogs, cats, exotics, or large animal. I am trained in CPR and able to recognize and respond to medical emergencies.
Reviews
Cassie is amazing with pets! Being a vet tech helps as she knows CPR and is well equipped to handle emergency situations. She has experience with both cats and dogs! Book with her for the best care!

I have several acres of land not yet fenced in, your fur baby will be leash walked but there is an area for them to play off leash safely. I also have a Great Dane that is 1 to keep your baby company. I also have a three legged cat which is why I choose to sit small dogs only for his safety. There is also a dog park 5 minutes down the road that my dog LOVES! It is also fenced in and quite large. My pets are on a feeding schedule of twice a day, with supplements and treats. For any exotic pets they will have their own room away from my own pets so they are not stressed out. There is a pet store in town that I personally use for my own snakes food- depending on the longevity of their stay if they run out of their own or I need to pick them up something. I am also experienced in bathing and limited grooming (potty patches and paw trimming)

Information Cassie J. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know your dog or cats schedule. Routine is important for animals and people and I want to make them as comfortable as possible. Let me know of and please bring with you their regular food and any supplements they may be on so they don’t have an upset tummy. If they are on any medications or have any disabilities please let me know before hand so I can prepare to keep them comfortable and less stressed. Also if your pet has any triggers or behaviors that could be pertinent during their stay I would appreciate a heads up!
A typical day
I like to use slow feeders, treat feeders, and snuffle mats to stimulate a dogs mind. Then we can walk around the farm and play games to get some extra energy out! Our neighbors - which are family have some furry friends of their own that also like to play and we can always take a pack run through the Christmas Tree field! Dogs love a good Christmas Tree. For my feline friends we have tons of different toys and games to play with and most importantly tons of blankets and soft places to lay. They will also have their own space and room while staying here- for the first day or so they will stay in the room for slow introductions and transition time to get used to a different place. All animals are fed separately to ensure each animal eats their fill. We do not feed table scraps or human food- pancreatitis and HGE are very uncomfortable and unnecessary added stress to your baby while boarding.

Availability
I work full time at a Animal ER in Richmond 3 days a week, I am off 4 days a week. My scheduled working days change monthly so I will update my availability at the first of every month. If needed let me know if I need to pick up or drop off for you- additional cost will be determined on mileage and the cost of fuel. I would gladly keep any exotics, I love caring for them and keeping them company. 🖤🐕🐈🐍
