Pet care experience
Howdy there! I am passionate about dogs, cats and all the critters in-between! I grew up on a small farm when I was younger, surrounded by chickens, bunnies, snakes, tarantulas as well as dogs and cats. It is a large part of what made me fall in love with animals of all shapes and sizes. I truly have a passion caring for animals and have dog and kitty sat for family, friends and neighbors in the past. My first and foremost priority is the safety and security of your fur child. I am here to ensure they receive the best care when they are with me. I want all animals I care for to be happy, safe and content. I love to walk and be outdoors in the fresh air, I will make it a joyous occasion for your fur child. I work nights day shift monday through friday leaving evenings and weekends free for me to care for animals. I have a pretty open availability that includes evenings, weekends and holidays. Any questions please feel free to ask. No animal to large or small, I care for them all!

Cassie has a special affinity with animals. She respects & adheres to the owners preference's of caring for their pet and establishes an rapport with their pet. She is very empathetic to pets with special needs (such as my dog with sight problems and asthmatic cat). Cassie responds to your pets needs for play, walking or just "quiet time". I find her to be intelligent, trustworthy, dependable, caring, and a wonderful sense of humor with pets' antics. Are they comfortable on a leash? Do they like to go on walks or do they prefer to exercise in their own backyard? Any other health or behavior concerns I should be aware of? Is there a routine or certain walk they are used to? Pretty much anything you can think of that will aide to your pets comfort while I care for them.
A typical day
I enjoy leisurely walks around parks or the neighborhood itself. We are near the beach, so a nice beach stroll could be in order. Or possibly a visit to the local dog parks. (Depending on the dog and if they are comfortable with that.) I can also go outside and play ball, fetch and tug-a-war if the dog prefers to stay in their own backyard. I also can incorporate basic doggy training lessons rewarded with treats if that is an option. For cats I can play with the mouse cat toy, or the much beloved laser. Even the cat charmer wand is something many cats seem to enjoy for a nice little exercise.
