Pet care experience
I help to train psychiatric service dogs for veterans with PTSD and absolutely love watching the transformation of the shelter dogs and the veterans. Being a part of their training and transforming each individual in the time of a week through walks, playtime, and training activities has always been rewarding. At home, I am one of the few people my neighbors trust to watch their house and two big dogs when they go on trips. I house-sit and dog sit for them typically for their week-long vacations. Since I love all animals, especially dogs and cats, I have always had them in my life. My first pet actually chose me, which helped to kickstart my own desire to be around them more and more. Since then, dogs and cats always warm up to me quickly and I am not above spoiling them with love and attention to win them over faster!

Cassie is an amazing pet owner. She has always had a love for animals and wants to give every last one a loving home. She is very in tune with animals and can tell when something is off. Most animals love her right off the back and can get close to petting any stray that she sees around the apartment complex. She has taken care of my dog for me when I didn't have the time to take care of her. Cassie will take my dog out on a regular basis when I am running around like a chicken with its head cut off and has even taken her to the vet for me when I had finals the day she needed to go to the vet. She has a big heart and let your animal hold a special place in her heart.
Cassie's dedication and genuine interest in animals and their care is awesome. We call her the animal whisperer as she appears to develop a tangible connection to the pets she watches, whether it is in pet sitting, overnight stays, or in rescuing animals. She has also volunteered her time as an assistant dog trainer for dogs working on their psychiatric service dog training. Oh, and the volunteer work she has done with marine animals demonstrates her love of God's creatures and the desire to watch over them. Hire her again? You bet. And my waggy tail friends agree!
