I’m a university student hoping to spend time with some pets! As I am a full time student I don’t have time to have a dog of my own so I’m excited to get to spend time with the dogs I meet on Rover! I have raised dogs from puppies, house trained puppies and have gone through dog training courses, such as puppy classes and canine good neighbour courses. I’ve learned a lot about behavioural training and different dog behaviours and how to deal with them through those classes. I love all kinds of animals, and have had many dogs, cats and birds throughout my life. I am willing to do basic dog maintenance with compliant, non-aggressive dogs (brushing, brushing teeth, clipping nails). I also have experience giving oral dog medication and with dogs with anxiety. With classes starting in person again I am out of the house more often, but generally not for more than a couple hours a day, if that. I have a fenced in back yard, and can take dogs on walks quite often. I always stay in the same room as the pet to ensure their safety.
