Pet care experience
Pets have been part of my life since I was a babe. I grew up with family dogs, cats and even bunnies! My dog, Delilah, was a core part of my 20's. From walks, to outdoor nature adventures, feedings, and caring for her when she was sick, our bound shaped my relationship with dogs as companions forever. These days, I am an amazing Dog and Cat "Auntie," making friends with all kinds of furry critters. I live with my family in the Nob Hill neighborhood, and care for their 2 yr. old corgi dog and new (very friendly) kitty. We frequent the dog park, work on training and leash etiquette, head out on runs, and head to the Sandia Foothills and beyond for longer adventures on the weekend. In short, I think pups are awesome. I am all about building trust and love with my animal friends, and I would look forward to being an amazing Auntie to your fur-baby!

Cassidy has watched my young dog several times now, and she is my top choice in Albuquerque! She is always very gracious in responding to my last minute doggie daycare requests, and even helps me find another sitter when she’s busy. On Memorial Day, while I was at work, she took my pup on a hike and sent me loads of photos. Made my day. She is very proactive with photos and updates throughout the day, and you feel confident your dog is in great hands. She is awesome, and I look forward to working with her again!

Cassidy is amazing with both cats and dogs and has a way with them. They are naturally drawn to her. She also can maintain discipline with them so they do not act out. Cassidy truly is a person who has a deep passion and love for all dogs and cats. This is true whether they are hers or not. I highly recommend her and trust her with both my own little dog and kitten.

Our home is a large adobe with fenced yard, and separate outdoor, fenced patio space. We are less than a block from an off-leash dog field, and two blocks from Hyder Park. We have a small, female corgi who is two-years-old, and a 12-week old male kitten. They both play with each other very well, and she likes other dogs, as long as they are not huge or aggressive.

I would love to know if your dog is a dominant or submissive personality, if they prefer having friends or their own space, what level of exercise they like, and what are their motivations (e.g. treats, their favorite toy, other dogs or balls, etc.).
A typical day
I live right near Hyder Park, so a jaunt, stroll or run around the park, depending on the dog's needs, would be a fun outing. I also love hiking, and would love to take your dog (on or off leash depending on training) into the Sandia Foothills. Dogs can expect games of fetch, and hanging with fellow dogs (if they are into making friends).

Availability
I am currently taking requisites at UNM to go back to school for a Masters in Nutrition, and work from home as a writer part time. So, my schedule is flexible and I am happy to schedule regular walking gigs or babysitting.
