My name is Cassidy and I am mostly available on weekends due to my current work schedule and I have had dogs big and small my entire life. I would love to spend some time with your furry ones when you need a hand. Going for walks is great not only for your pet's health, but great for socialization and boredom fighting! From easy and slow walks to jogs and runs, I'd be happy to share some exercise, sunshine, and outdoors time with them. I have pet sat and looked after my friends and coworkers' dogs, cats, and even chickens for years and always have a blast with them. I have experience with very young as well as elderly animals. When it comes to house sitting I would be more than happy to also tend to plants and check the mail for you. I am mostly interested in being a dog sitter and walker for the pure fun and love of dogs, and am happy to accommodate any special needs or circumstances of your fur baby.

Cassidy has been wonderful! We have left our energetic lab with her on more than one occasion for >1 week each time. Not only has he been well cared for, Cassidy goes above and beyond. She will take him for car rides, runs, trips to yellowstone and hikes. Our dog can be reactive around other dogs and she does a great job of managing these interactions. Cassidy has even managed to introduce our dog to others safely, allowing him to play with other dogs when he is under her care. Additionally, our dog requires medication 2x/day which Cassidy has no problem administering, and is always on top of his pills and feedings. He is always happy to see her and be dropped off at her apartment, and when we pick him he is always exhausted from a week of playing. I would give Cassidy my highest recommendation! She is amazing!
Cassidy has had a a dog in her life everyday until she went to college. There she took every opportunity to dog sit for friends or give a pat. Dogs love and gravitate toward her. Some doggies out there are going to be very lucky to meet her through Rover.

I never leave any dog under my care unsupervised when I am with them, and when I am not in your home I am meticulous about ensuring safety and security. Doors always remain locked behind me, and I double check everything I do.

I have no breed preferences when sitting and have a special soft spot for pit bulls. I would like to know current activity levels and limitations, allergies, and any aggressions (food, animal, or otherwise) before looking after your pup! If I am house sitting for you I will need to know how you would like me to access your home and if you'd like anything to be taken care of while you're away (checking the mail, watering plants, etc).
A typical day
When taking your baby on walks I am more than happy to stick to roads, adventure on some trails, run, play fetch, or anything else your pup is up for! Let me know your pup's preferences and I'll see that they're met. For drop ins I can feed your pup, take them for a walk, and play, staying with them for at least 30 minutes.

Availability
My schedule is early morning loaded, with much freer afternoons and evenings. I can routinely plan on being off work at 2pm. I am quite busy during the fall but my schedule opens up greatly through winter, spring, and summer!
