Pet care experience
I have been an animal lover ever since I was a child and have been taking care of dogs/cats since I was 8 years old. I have been reliable with watching pets for my family, friends, as well as my doctor. Any time I care for a pet I am always successful and make sure their safety is my number one priority! I know having a pet in someone else's hands can be very stressful, nerve-racking, and alarming at times, but I will bring ease to all of those things for you by making sure I send you up to date pictures of your furry friend during my arrival, throughout, and after any services you need me for! I am also pleased to meet you before handing your pet into my care so we can get to know each other! I would love to contribute to anything that makes you as an owner feel more comfortable, for that is what I am here for!

I take care of my pets in my home by doing the daily necessities such as feeding them and giving them fresh water. It is important to give your pets as much attention as you can give them. I always find time to play catch, a game of tug-a-war, or simply pet and rub their tummy's. Depending on their mood they might not feel like playing but I always make sure to make my pets feel loved through any source of engagement I can give them. I also tend to my dogs for baths, and when they have ear infections, are ill, or have an injury of some sort, making sure I take the actions required and they recover as soon as possible. This is the same care I give to all of my client's pets as well!

Let me know if your pet has any treatments or medications that I should know about. I would as well appreciate it if you keep me up to date with any disabilities, illnesses, or allergies, and any certain routines I must tend too for your pup!
A typical day
What fun activities will you do with the dogs you watch? Do you have special places you like to go on walks? I will do many enjoyable activities with your dogs, and I am always up for new suggestions as well for something they might enjoy! I typically play games such as fetch, tug a war, tag, and frisbee with dogs. I would love to take your dogs on walks wherever they feel comfortable whether it is on a quiet trail, a park, or up town where life is active. Safety is my biggest role and I will always be sure I have your dogs under my supervision and on leash unless we are in a circumstance it is not needed. I love good walks at places like the Hickory Hill Loop, the Terry Trueblood Rec Area, and the Kiwanis Park.

Availability
I am a full time college student with morning classes on Monday's, Wendsday's, & Friday's till 1:30 PM, however I could always stop to care for pets before 10 PM on those days and after classes are over. On Tuesday's and Thursday's I only have class from 3:30-5:30. My Weekends vary, some weekends I go to my home town to visit but on others I stay in Iowa City and am available. I have a very flexible schedule with my days.
