Until two years ago I have always been a dog owner. When I moved to Texas I had to leave my pets behind with my mother and I greatly miss their companionship. I began my care experience at the age of 5 and at age 12 I instructed my mother and her friend how to properly help the friend’s Lassa Apso give birth. Neither of them had the slightest idea what to do and credit me for their survival. One member of that litter still lives with my mom to this day. I learned the importance of dog care young and as such it is second nature to me. I can walk them, bathe them, and brush them and I have experience caring for and administering insulin to two separate diabetic dogs. I understand the connection between pet and pet parent and I am excited to meet and care for such an important family member. I hope to meet you and your pup soon.
