Pet care experience
I started working at a veterinary hospital my senior year of high school. I have worked in the kennel, assisted in surgery and appointments, performed countless nail trims and expressed anal glands, bathed cats and dogs, given pet medications, fluids and injections. I have also raised orphaned kittens and puppies, setting up their adoptions once they are weaned. I once rescued a cat that was slated to be euthanized, she was pregnant and had a deformed/injured leg. She was able to not only live long enough to give birth to her 8 kittens, but she was able to nurse and care for them until they were weaned, while living with me. I was then able to get her the treatment she needed and adopted her and 6 of her kittens to great homes (and 2 stayed with me 🥰). I have rescued several dogs as well. My very first dog of my own was a 6 month old rescue mix found walking in 6 inches of snow, he went from a super scared puppy (peed all over himself in terror when he first met my now husband) to a very loved family dog. He passed away at 14 years old and is greatly missed in our house! He is definitely the dog that all our dogs get measured against to this day.
Reviews
Cassi has always helped with our animals whenever needed. She’s the first one I call if my little one needs anything (nail trim, potty path, or babysitting) or if I just need advice on whether to call the vet or not. Cassi has worked in the veterinary field for 20 years and has a lot of love and knowledge to share.

I like to try and follow the schedule and routine your pet would be used to with you home. This would include, feedings, medications, walks and bed time.
Home
Information Cassi M. would like to know about your pet
I would like to know if your pet has any medical conditions (diabetic, senior, seizures, anxiety, food allergies, joint problems, etc.). This will help me to cater my service to them and ensure I don’t do anything that could hurt them or jeopardize their treatments. I am very comfortable caring for your special needs fur baby (giving medications, injections, and helping them get around comfortably, etc.).
A typical day
My dogs favorite things to do are fetch, tug, chase the laser, wrestling and snuggling. I love to try and work in some enrichment/mental games for them too, like hiding food/treats in muffin tins covered with tennis balls for them to sniff out.
