Hello fellow pet lover! My name is Cassi. I am a Registered Veterinary Technician. I have been a technician for 15 years. I understand how stressful it can be planning a trip and wanting to ensure that your pet(s) are being well cared for. I feel that my background in veterinary medicine and my love for animals will give you a level of confidence knowing that your furry loved ones are in the best care possible. Whether your pet(s) enjoy taking a nice walk or they are more the couch potato type, I want them to be the most comfortable they can be, when their family is away from home. If you would like me to pet sit your family member in my home, I would like you to be aware that I do have children, 2 dogs and 2 cats. My children are taught how to respect animals and my pets are friendly. Why I love pet sitting I have been a dog/animal lover as long as I can remember. My grandma always had a menagerie of pets when I was growing up. She was always rescuing something on the side of the road and nurturing it back to health. I think that is why I chose a career in veterinary medicine. She instilled in me the values of taking care of animals and being a voice for them. It is something that is extremely rewarding and challenges me everyday. I am very comfortable administering all types of medications. I can perform injections for diabetic pets, apply eye and ear ointments, give oral medications, administer CPR/First- AID and anything in between.
