I've been a proud pet-owner all of my life, and I began showing purebred dogs through the American Kennel Club at the age of ten, in which I became a nationally-recognized Rough and Smooth Collie junior handler. I've also worked on the reproductive end of the spectrum, in which I've helped to whelp and raise newborn puppies. Now in college, I have worked with a variety of large animals at UGA's Veterinary School, and I currently continue on with my passion for animals via raising and working with dogs for the Guide Dog Foundation for the Blind. I've both participated as a puppy raiser as well as a temporary camper (dog-sitting, in which I would bring the puppy out into social settings and administer proper training, etc). Most recently, I raised a German Shepherd for a year's time, and she is now nearing her final stage of training. All in all, I highly enjoy the relationships that I've built with the variety of dogs and owners I've worked with - and I'd love for nothing more than to continue such work!
