Pet care experience
Growing up, we always had a family pet. I have owned multiple dogs, cats and even a parrot (who is older than me)! I have a purr-fect cat, and I spend lots of time with my two pawesome Labrador Retriever nephews. I love having a wagging tail around my home, and a walking buddy. My partner has owned a few dogs, including large and smaller breeds. We are comfortable with dogs of all sizes and pets with unique needs. We are committed to working with you to follow your pets schedule.

Cassandra is a fantastic sitter! She took great care of my giant bernedoodle while we were visiting Halifax - he took right to her and seemed to have had an excellent overnight stay. Highly recommend reaching out to her if you need a dogsitter.

There is no one I trust more than Cassandra with my two Labrador Retrievers! She has taken them on daytime walks/adventures and for extended overnight stays since they were little puppies (now almost 4 and 2 years old). She is always very attentive, loving, and playful with them. You can tell they really enjoy their time with her, and as their paw-rent that is very reassuring! I know they will be well taken care of, and extra spoiled when they are with her.

We live in a large 2 bedroom apartment in the North End of Halifax. The building is pet friendly, so you are likely to run into a furry friend or two in the elevator. Our home is pet proof, but we also have a comfortable space to crate your pet if that is your preference. We will stick to your training. If you let your dog up on the couch, we will too! If you prefer that they don’t pick up that habit, we will be sure to respect that as well.

A typical day
I only take pets from one household at a time so that I can adapt to your schedule and your pets energy levels. We can go for a walk to one of the many parks around town to run off some energy, or do puppy puzzles at home for mental stimulation.

I work from home full-time during the week, and have a dedicated space for work, snuggles and play time. Bonus; I don’t work on evenings and weekends!
