Pet care experience
Each dog is an individual with specific needs---whether it's attention-based or medical---and those needs are amplified when their person is gone. Knowing this, I always do my best to adhere to your dog's schedules, habits, and quirks in order to make them feel as comfortable as possible until they can be reunited with their family. But leaving your pets behind isn't just stressful on them; it can be just as tough on you! So in order to put your mind at ease, I can send you updates and photos as frequently as desired, so you'll know your pup is in great hands. And because I mostly work from home, your pup will rarely be alone for longer than 3-4 hours at a time! I originally began sitting as a favor for family and friends before realizing how much fun I had doing so! My love for dogs (and eventual love for cats) made me determined to make each animal I sat for feel as comfortable with me as they do with their own family. Eventually, my contact info got passed along to friends-of-friends and friends-of-family---I had random numbers name-dropping other people I'd sat or walked for---until I developed a recurring clientele base. Today, I have a close, personal relationship with over 25 cats and dogs, ranging from Kenilworth to Mountainside to Freehold to Union to Morristown!
Reviews
I founds Cassie’s profile and review on Rover which I used successfully once before. I was so happy I found another great sitter with Cassie!! Her profile and reviews are absolutely spot on. She was prompt, friendly and reliable. I would definitely ask Cassie to take care of my dog again.
Milo apparently had a great few days with Cassie ? when we returned he was in his routine, happy to see us of course , and had no obvious signs of stress ! Cassie is a warm and personable woman that we all (including Milo) feel comfortable with ? So happy to have found her !!
Another great stay with Cassie!
Cassie was great! She provided quick communication throughout her stay and left us feeling really comfortable leaving our dog babies with her for a long weekend. When our flight got delayed she shifted her schedule to drop by to make sure they weren’t alone too long. She even kept the little one out of trouble! They seemed to have a great time. Highly recommend!

Information Cassandra L. would like to know about your pet
There are two really important things I would like to know before spending time with your dog(s). 1- Does your dog have a schedule? (Feeding times, walks per day, medications, etc.) And 2- Does your dog have any specific habits, quirks, allergies, or rules? (Do they have to eat with someone in the room? Are they allowed on the furniture? Do they sleep in bed with you? Do they not like their ears touched? Will they not allow me to touch a certain toy? Etc.) I love all dogs, big and small, and have experience with almost every personality type---energetic or lazy, anxious or carefree, cuddly or solitary, etc.
A typical day
If you have a typical route or a park nearby, I would gladly take your dog(s) there. If not, we'd walk around the neighborhood. If your dog is really into playing outside, either with or without toys---i.e. soccer ball, fetch, general running, etc---I'd gladly do that. Or even inside activities like playing with squeaky toys, tug-of-war, or even horseplay. Also, we all know how difficult it can be to get a great snapshot of your dog. So if requested in advance, I can arrange a puppy photoshoot to get that wall-worthy, perfect portrait for the furriest member of your family! And as an added bonus: for the last two years, I gifted homemade treats to all of my furry friends during the holiday season! (Last year they received Beefy Cheddar Bites and Peanut Butter Bones)
