I’ve always loved animals but was never allowed to have any growing up . I began having my own pets at age 14. I started with fish and then got turtles and quickly taught myself to properly care for them. We also got a family dog in 2017 and then another in late 2020 . Both that I’ve cared for at 5 weeks and 3 months old from bottle feeding, baths, and taking them to vet apts. In 2021 a friend rescued a senior rabbit and was going to send him to a shelter and I didn’t want that happening so I took him in not knowing a single thing about them. I adjusted and learned to love and take care of them while also teaching my two other dogs to respect boundaries and be gentle with him. I’m always willing to learn about pets and how to care for them in the best way whether that be to understand the dogs personality & common behaviors or medical issues/ food allergies they might have. I don’t have experience yet with senior dogs but would love to learn to care for them as they are the most neglected and need the most love.
