Pet care experience
Dogs are such a source of joy! I've been taking care of pets since I was 12 years old. I have cared for a variety of dog breeds. From Mastiffs and Saint Bernards to cocker spaniels and chihuahuas, I have walked and cared for them all. Since I was 10, I have always had a dog in my house. Recently, moved to Lynchburg and have missed having furry friends in my life. I have helped raise many puppies and love the energy they have to play! I have cared for older dogs with medical problems taking the time to sit and snuggle when that all they need. I have worked with pets who struggle with mobility and those with unending energy. I am here for it all!

Cassandra did a fantastic job caring for Leo. She was able to keep him comfortable and happy while he is recovering from surgery. She was super flexible and really helped me out in a time of need. Couldn’t recommend enough!
Cassandra is and always has been passionate about dogs. She is caring and gentle with them. She understands dog body language and uses it to adjust her training and care to fit the need of each dog. She is patient with them and loves all breeds. She’s a hard working and determined individual who can be relied on to get the job done.
Cassandra is an amazing dog walker. Not only was she consistent in planning out the time to walk my 5 dogs but she also helped with training. It’s apparent she loves dogs and being outside. Thank you Cassandra for all you help through the years!!

A typical day
I love to be outside. If your puppy is full of energy (and the weather allows) we will spend time sitting and playing outside or going on walks. I recognize that each dog has different needs. Some may want to go be on their own outside, while other may want to relax in the yard next to me. Whether it’s sitting in the sun with a senior dog, playing with a pup, or taking your dog for a walk, I’m here for it! I am here to love your pet how they need love!

Availability
I work part-time and have extra time that I want to spend with pups. With my current living situation I cannot have a dog, but recognize my desire to spend time with and show care to pups! I am available on weekdays during working hours (8-5) for walking and drop in visits and on most weekends for house sitting! I have a flexible schedule
