Pet care experience
I’ve cared for cats and various sizes of dogs nearly my whole life. I’ve even raised kittens from birth. As an animal lover, playing with, exercising, snuggling and generally looking after animals of all kinds is exciting for me.

A lot of people are good with dogs, but not many would risk their lives for one. Cassandra was helping me with my large German Shepherd Deuce as we crossed a river in Sonoma that we probably had no business crossing. Deuce panicked, stopped swimming, and got swept down the rocky shore. Cassandra immediately dove in after him and traversed down the rocky current until she reached Deuce. Together we got him to safety. He could have been hurt or worse if she hadn't reacted so quickly. I am eternally grateful for Cassandra, and I would trust her to take my dog anywhere, anytime.

A typical day
I love to be active so taking your dog for a walk, run or hike will help them burn off some energy. I also love to go to the dog park so that they can socialize with other dogs. Playing with toys outside or in your home is fun too. Of course, giving belly and butt scratches, or just hanging out relaxing is not a bad option either. For kitties, it depends on the demeanor of your cat, but I’m open to anything… playing, snuggling, etc.

Availability
I have a flexible work schedule. I’m typically available for longer periods of time on the weekends, including overnight sitting. I’m usually available after 3pm, Monday - Friday. If early morning drop-in visits or walking is needed, please send me a message so we can work out any details.
