Pet care experience
I grew up with three cats and a dog, and love spending time with them. Caring for pets works both ways; I also get refreshed as I play with them, and love to give them everything that they need :) And I have cared for neighbor's cats ever since I was growing up. Additionally, my previous roommate also had a cat, so I not only played with the cat regularly, but I also helped her to take care of the cat whenever she went on vacation. Also, my best friend has five dogs, so I go for walks with him and his dogs.

Since I have known Cassandra from the time she was a little girl, she has always been a hard worker. She does every job very thoroughly and accurately, and is very punctual and dependable. She has taken time to get to know my cat (Nikko), letting him warm up to her at his own pace. One time when I was not available, she noticed him lying near the heating duct, looking poorly. She even took him to the vet and asked pertinent questions; she ended up with a prescription for him. Nikko ended up getting well very quickly; that visit was a success. A year later, Nikko laid in the same spot when he felt sick again; he knew that she would know it was time for another vet visit. She speaks to him as though he knows English and he responds well to her words/body language. She is a very special cat caretaker, and I trust her so much with my special guy. :)
Cassandra has grown up with cats and has taken care of her roommates cat as well as her family cats when they needed care/feeding/attention. She is a very responsible cat owner and I'd trust her to watch my cats!

At my clients' houses, I have made sure the cat food is filled to the appropriate level, and spent over 30 minutes with the cat(s), to nurture them and give them some happiness, especially considering their parents (owners) aren't there with them.

It's helpful to know if the dog(s) need any special accommodations, as in certain food(s) that they can/cannot eat, any medication they have to take, things to keep in mind on the daily walks, understanding the personality of the dog, if the dog is outgoing or nervous with other dogs. Please let me know any of these, or any more, requests specific for your pup!
A typical day
I love to go for walks around neighborhoods, and also have taken dogs to the beach. I'm open to whatever the dog prefers, as long as the client lets me know in advance! :)

Availability
I have a very flexible schedule, so I can pet sit at any time of day, regardless of if it is M-F, or on the weekends. Since I own a car, I can drive to the location easily.
