Grew up in a home filled with pets (cats, dogs, hamsters, chinchilla, mice, rabbits, fish) and have always had a love for animals. I have never lived in a home without a furry baby :) My family had a german shepherd, and later a shepherd/hound mix, so I have experience walking and running with large/energetic breeds. We had many rescue cats (either tabbies or calicos) and I have owned/cared/looked after both young and old pets; my first cat lived to be 23, cared for goldendoodle and aussiedoodle puppies, cared for a shih tzu until ~15 y/o, and I currently have a rescue cat (2 y/o).

Cassandra is such a delight, our new puppy adores her! She was on time and very attentive to any specific instructions we had. We appreciate her great suggestions with respect to helping our new little fur baby become well trained. Neighbours commented how sweet she was playing in the yard with our puppy.

Cassandra dropped in on our 3 cats daily while we were camping. Each day we got a detailed message regarding our cats as well as at least 6 candid photos. Our cats loved playing with Cassandra and warmed up to her quickly. We were able to enjoy a relaxing vacation with our fur-babies well taken care of. We will definitely us Cassandra again.

- playing (inside or outside) with high-energy pets who need to burn off steam - staying low-key to cuddle and soothe more introverted pets - I'm experienced and comfortable with brushing cats and dogs to help maintain healthy coats - long or short walks for dogs who need to stretch their legs and get some fresh air - I have walked large and small dogs (examples: german shepherd, husky, rottweiler, bouvier, beagle, shih tzu, goldendoodle, aussiedoodle).

It's helpful to know: - any specific behavioural traits (ex. if he starts whining at you, he probably needs to poop, but he only likes pooping near the long grass by the fence) - any cuddles that are off-limits (ex. not liking ears touched, does not like being picked up or only being picked up a specific way) - any triggers (ex. squirrels, loud cars, children yelling, etc.)
A typical day
I love going for neighbourhood and trail walks (the Nokidaa trail is great), and for dogs that like a little more pep in their step I can jog with them too! Love to play fetch and wrestle with toys (no biting though!), and I even taught 2 previous dogs of mine how to play hide-and-seek indoors :D
