I grew up with a houseful of German Shepherds and cats that were treated like family. I helped my parents with the care of the animals, which at one time was up to 20. I helped take care of three different litters and assisted with obedience training. I am a Special Education Teacher so my availability is limited during the school year to being only available weekends starting at 7 PM on Fridays, but I'm available most weekdays during breaks. We currently have two dogs, Zeus a male husky and Callie a rhodesian ridgeback mix, in the home and we have a doggy door for access to the backyard. I love dogs and cats, and would love the opportunity to get a mood boost through some play and/or walks. I would treat your babies like they are my own. Dog boarding is an overnight for 24 hours. If you need more than a 24 hour window (such as drop off at 8 am and pickup at 6 PM next day), I do offer doggy day care for boarding clients. Your family member will be able to play with the other dogs, have a yard to roam, going on walks in the neighborhood, lots of cuddles, and is allowed on the furniture. I treat all dogs like my own and I try not to leave when I have a boarder. I do ask you bring a crate in the event I do step out and for the comfort of your dog. If he or she gets scared, that is their safe place that he or she already knows. Drop-in visits are 30 minutes of care for your fur baby. For dogs this can include feeding, water fill ups, walking, play time, medication administration, and cuddles. For cats this includes feeding, water fill ups, litter box cleanup, medication administration, playtime, and lots of cuddles.
