Hi! I’m Cassandra, or Cassie! I love animals of all shapes and sizes, from cats and dogs to hamsters and lizards! I’m an active person, so I’m a great fit for dogs that need lots of exercise. I have volunteer experience at Freedom Service Dogs of America, a training program for dogs to become service animals. I volunteered for over a year and gained valuable experience training dogs and handling rowdy pups. I also have lots of experience with cats. I grew up with our two family cats, and I recently adopted my own lovely kitty! I can’t wait to meet you and your lovely pets! Please send me a message for any pet needs! :)

I take safety very seriously for any fur babies! I will always go by the discretion of the owner before anything else. I always keep a watchful eye on exits in the home that a sneaky pet can escape from, as well as any potential hazards like food, chemicals, etc. Let me know anything specific I should keep in mind for your home! I love playing with pets, so I make sure to spend a lot of time engaging each animal in whatever way they want to play! For dogs, I know it can be harder to get exercise in the city. So, weather permitting, I try to take pups on walks in safe areas nearby. I make sure cats get their exercise in, too! I spend lots of time playing with batting toys and other things that encourage cats to run around.

All I would like to know is if your furbaby has any special or specific needs. I can accommodate almost anything, so having advance notice will allow me to give your pup the best experience possible!
A typical day
I love to play with dogs all day! I make sure to play with their favorite toys to keep them happy. And, of course, lots of love (and treats ;))! I live in Boston, so if I'm watching pets near me, I try to get creative with city walks. I personally like the Fens a lot, but I also have fun exploring some of the beautiful neighborhoods that Boston has to offer.

Availability
I am currently attending school in Boston and using Rover to help with funding my education! I have a pretty open schedule when it comes to pet sitting. I prefer to do drop-ins in the morning and evening to fit with my class schedule.
