As a former travel nurse, I depended on Rover quite a bit in the past to provide my pups with safe and caring caregivers while I worked! I know how important it is that your pup is loved and cared for when you can’t be there to do it, and I know the stress and guilt of dropping my pups off somewhere and being worried about whether I made the right decision. I was raised with collies growing up and my parents were truly the best examples of pet parents! I love dogs and will accommodate your dog with whatever his/her needs are. Snuggles all day long? I’ve got them! Just wants to be independent and doesn’t want to be touched? No problem! (I’ve got one like that too). I’m in an online grad program full time, and now only work 4 shifts a month which allows me to be at home most of the time, and my husband works from home a majority of the time so there’s usually some here at all times, however to be a good fit your pup must be okay with being left alone for about 4 hours (whether that’s in a crate or outside of a crate is up to you!) We have a fenced backyard and supervise them outside at all times. At night the dogs are free to rest in our room or in another space if you prefer. We have multiple bedrooms that aren’t in use every night so if your pup requires privacy we can do that too. I also love taking pics, since I know how fun and reassuring it is to receive those myself!
