Pet care experience
I have grown up taking care of my pet parakeets, cockatiels, 3 cats, 4 dogs, and several fish. I am completely comfortable around animals of all shapes and sizes and currently have multiple fish tanks and a bearded dragon. I have experience administering medication to dogs orally, cleaning ears, giving flea medicine. I have been a trusted pet sitter and walker for family and friends, including taking care of an Australian Shepherd puppy and a Great Dane/Pitbull mix. Our pets are the center of our world and do a lot for us, and I love taking care of animals and showing them the love, attention, and affection they deserve.

I am an attentive caregiver and like to understand what makes each pet feel most comfortable, whether in their home or mine. I have a fenced dog park nearby my apartment I can take them to if they are enjoy interacting with other dogs. I live on the top floor and have a balcony, and I would keep the slider door shut and take them downstairs as frequently as they need. If they do not feel comfortable around other dogs, I will make sure to avoid them and/or give other animals a wide berth while calming them.

A typical day
I love hanging out and playing with dogs. We would go on a walk solo as long as they are able or visit the dog park if they enjoy being around other dogs so they can get used to the new smells around my neighborhood. Inside, they would be able to practice tricks they have learned, play games with various toys, and get all of the petting they want!

Availability
I currently work from home full time, so I am available weekdays with enough notice beforehand and anytime on weekends. Weekends work best, but I am comfortable taking care of animals while working remotely, as I have done for my own pets and those I have pet sat.
