Pet care experience
This is something my son and I are doing together. He is 11, almost 12! I am trying to teach him how to properly care for animals as well as learn what it takes to earn money by working for it. While I will be doing most of the work, he will be helping me with walks and feedings and potty schedules! My husband will also be helping from time to time! I’ve grown up with pets my whole life - from Chihuahuas to Great Danes. As well as cats and other types of animals. I currently have a Great Dane that is super friendly and loves having playmates.
Reviews
Casey was the best host! She proactively asked all the right questions and arranged a visit to get to know our dog before his stay. I’m pretty sure our pup would have stayed longer if he could have!
Casey really came through for us last minute on New Years Eve, she gave plenty of updates and we felt very comfortable leaving our pup in her care. Would recommend to anyone, will for sure book with her again next time we need boarding for our giant schnauzer! So appreciated!
Casey is warm and welcoming. She sent me pictures of my dogs playing. They were both happy to be there.. i took toys and dog food , even though Claira played with any toy that was not her's..we talked about what our dogs where like before we left them. She is wonderful .
Casey and her kids are reliable and love all fur babies! What else could a pet mama want?

Before you decide to make an official booking with us, we would love to meet you first! Please send me a request and we can arrange a quick meet & greet - this can be either at a dog park or at my house. Now that I have been boarding with Rover for over a year, I find that it calms a lot of nerves to have you come check out where I live so you can see for yourself the type of environment your pets will be in! A meet and greet for boarding your pet in my home is not 100% mandatory, it is whatever you are comfortable with - I completely understand that sometimes life throws curve balls and there isn’t always time for formality. For housesitting new clients, a meet & greet at your house prior to the stay is 100% required. I just request you have a safe & clean environment for me to be able to adequately take care of your pets. I provide the same amount of updates and will absolutely leave your house just as clean (or cleaner!!) as I found it! Please check out my reviews of past boarding & housesitting jobs I’ve completed! I also welcome any questions you might have prior to arranging anything. Please let me know if your pet has any special needs or anything you think I should know, such as food or toy aggression (not a deal breaker! This is just so I can keep my kids and my own pets safe). My only request is that your pet (if old enough) be up to date on their vaccinations. My Lucy is all up to date on hers, but I’d rather be safe than sorry! I’m a very open and easy going person and I know how difficult it can be to find proper pet care when we need it the most! Please reach out to me with any and all questions!

Information Casey U. would like to know about your pet
As mentioned before, please let me know if your pet shows any food/toy aggression and I will be be sure to handle it appropriately. I have two cats, so if your pooch likes to chase cats or just has a general dislike, please let me know (this is also not a deal breaker to a certain degree, as long as your pup won’t physically harm either of my cats, but a little chasing never hurt anybody, they could use the exercise)!
A typical day
If your pet is brave enough to go head to head with Lucy, my Great Dane, there will be lots of play time. We are also big fans of walks around our neighborhood and I have two kids who absolutely love playing with mans best friend.

Availability
My husband and I currently work from home. My husband does travel on occasion but my job is 100% remote, so I am home 24/7 to care for your furbaby! And my son will be helping after he gets home from school on the weekdays and all weekend! Are you wondering what you should bring for your 4 legged friend? The answer is anything that will make them comfortable! And I mean anything! Here are a few suggestions: *If they sleep in a crate - bring their crate! (I can also provide a crate if their home crate is too much to haul.) *Food & treats *Food Bowls (I can also provide if necessary) *Toys (I also have a lot of dog toys but if your pup has a favorite toy, feel free to bring it) *Leash for walks & potty breaks *Favorite blanket or bedding (I also have this available if needed!) What you can expect from me : *treatment of your pup as if she/he were my own *communication… lots of communication! Depending on your preferences, I like to update once a day or once every other day so you know that your pet is safe and having a great stay away from home!
