A Happy, Safe, and Caring Stay
Pet care experience
Hi there! My name is Casey and any dog I’ve been privileged to care for, I have loved like my own! Throughout my life, I've always had a cherished four-legged family member, and I'm experienced in caring for dogs of all sizes, breeds and ages. I believe that each breed and individual dog has their own unique needs and personality and after getting acquainted, I tailor my care to give them a great experience. I am experienced and reliable in taking instruction and feeding, giving treats, and administering medication. I know how hard it is to be away from a pup and I like to give updates and send photos frequently unless stated otherwise.
Reviews
Casey is the best. My dogs are familiar with him now which is the greatest feeling. Another wonderful booking with Casey.
Always amazing! My boys love Casey and he takes excellent care of my home in addition to my dogs & cat! Highly recommend!!!!
Casey is great with my dogs!
Unfortunately Casey did not do a great job of following our instructions to care for our dogs and was invasive and unprofessional. Our animals were healthy and happy so that is a positive.

Safety, trust & environment
When staying with pup(s) in their territory, I like to learn their daily routines, likes, dislikes, specific things to be aware of etc. from their caretaker before the stay. This info can be provided either through a meet and greet, phone conversation, or a written cheat sheet. I also have an intake sheet that I send out for each stay that provides a way to capture the most important information and a space to note the little personality quirks that make each pup unique.
Information Casey N. would like to know about your pet
I like to learn the following for each dog before the stay (usually through an emailed intake sheet): ---Basic Information--- Name: Also responds to (shortened/nicknames used) : Breed: Favorite Things (toys, treats, blanket, cuddles, etc) : Things to Avoid/Dislikes : Commands known (Verbal or Hand Signal) : How do they do: During interaction with other animals? : Walking on leash? : Walking off leash (where permitted) ? : With car rides (if applicable)? : If left alone at home (only if necessary)? : ’They are comfortable at home alone for [time] __________________' Procedure (crate, restrict area, treat etc.) : Notes: ---Communication--- Phone (Call) : Phone (Text) : Prefer contact only through the Rover app? A typical day
No one knows more about their pup's wants and needs than their parents. Learning exactly what the pet parent(s) wants for their dog is very important to me in order to make time apart as comfortable as possible for everyone. Since every dog is so unique, a typical day would be designed to fit the individual dog. Whether it's burning off energy on a walk or in the foothills, or just having a companion to make them feel loved while they doze off to sleep in their favorite spot, it is completely dependent on the what's best for the pup.
Services
Casey can watch in your home
Availability
I do freelance photography and design work, and am fortunate to make my own schedule, so I have plenty of time and attention to dedicate to each pup. Frequent breaks and walks usually keep us both happy.
