Pet care experience
Hi! I go by Q and use he/they pronouns. My prices are higher because I have experience; please make sure you feel comfortable with my prices before you request to book. I am tired of being canceled on last minute because of them. Spending the last year and some months working at a veterinary rehab clinic has taught me a lot about caring for disabled and older dogs. I have experience with injections and some practice with pilling.

Q has become our go-to pet sitter if they are available. They take such amazing care of our high maintenance dogs, including all the special care requirements Winston has. They are also very communicative which we always really appreciate.
Q did an amazing job with our dogs. Our dogs are pretty high maintenance due to Winston’s special needs. There are lots of details and routines in their care. All was handled perfectly. Q was so communicative and shared updates regularly (I am a Velcro pet parent) and that was so appreciated. Our dogs and home were so well cared for. Penny and Winston had a great time. Would absolutely request (and will be requesting) them to pet sit again!

Let me know any favorite toys, regular meal times, regular sleep times; basically their regular schedule. Especially for older or special needs pups who probably need consistency a little more than others.
A typical day
I love letting dogs show me where they want to walk. I figure it lets them get to know their neighborhood and gives them some autonomy. We often find some fun spots that way. Otherwise, I’m more of the mellow at home sitter. We can absolutely walk everywhere, play fetch if you have a yard for it, and go to dog parks (if that feels safe to you; I would only do this with express consent); at the end of the day, though, I’m here for the good cuddle times.

I’m currently in grad school with a part time internship doing dog care on the side. Internship doesn’t start until fall, so my availability is as open as I can afford.
