Pet care experience
I’m a student at Chapman University from St. Louis, MO living off-campus in a house with a few roommates. I’m a screenwriting major and a member of the honors program with a passion for visual arts. My roommates and I are all dog lovers that miss our pups at home. I have a 12 year old Puggle and a 2 year old black cat at my home in St. Louis and it’s always so hard being away from them. We have a beautiful fenced-in backyard at our home here in Orange with lots of grass. It is the perfect space for a dog. Having animals scurrying around makes a house feel like a home and I can’t wait to welcome in some new furry friends!

I had two senior dogs up until about a year ago and my family now has a very energetic and vocal puppy, so I’m familiar with the care required for both! I.e. giving medicine, handling puppy teething and lots of belly rubs in either case, obviously.
Information Casey H. would like to know about your pet
My dog at home doesn’t go to the bathroom on a leash and my old dog sometimes needed to be reminded to put his tongue back in his mouth or it would dry out. I know each dog is special and has personalities and needs specific to them. It’s always important to know if medication is a necessity, if your dog prefers their food watered down, if they’re pee-shy and I need to close my eyes… I want to make sure I do everything in my power to keep your dog comfortable!
A typical day
Some of my favorite activities to do with my dog at home include playing fetch, getting coffee and sitting in the park with her and talking politics. We don’t always see eye to eye and the conversations can get pretty heated... Don’t tell her I said this, but she can be so immature, resorting to crying and screaming. Anyway, if your dog(s) is into debating or just looking for some casual banter over dinner, I’ve definitely got that covered.
