Great with blind and sighted dogs!

Pet care experience

I grew up caring for two golden retrievers, and I'm now the proud co-owner of a blind adult rescue terrier. I have watched dogs for relatives and neighbors, and I'm great with playtime, bath-time, and whatever kind of walk schedule the dog needs.

Casey is a very experienced dog walker with great attention to detail and experience in this field. Casey is extremely punctual and attentive to individuals as well as dogs he cares for. He has a special needs dog of his own and I have seen him walk and administer medicine to his pup in a very responsible and caring manner.

My dog Kingsley loves Casey. He's proven himself to be able to handle both my hyperactive puppy and a close friends blind dog. I would trust him in any situation with a dog.

Casey is fantastic with dogs! He has a blind dog, Sherman, who he cares for with great attentiveness, compassion, and love. He is committed to making sure all of the dogs he watches get plenty of walks, play, and attention, and he can handle dogs with all energy levels, ages, and personality types. I highly recommend booking Casey to walk your dog.

Safety, trust & environment

The level and type of care depends on the pet. My own dog is blind, hypoallergenic, and has an adult metabolism; so I adjust playtime, hygiene, and walk distances to his needs. For more energetic dogs, I would try to make sure that our walks are vigorous and fun enough to where they don't have too much nervous energy inside while their owners are away. I don't believe in physical discipline of dogs, and I would refrain from giving them any snacks that aren't pre-approved by the owner.

Information Casey D. would like to know about your pet

There are a few things I like to know about a dog ahead of caring for them: 1) Do they play well with other pets? If so, are there certain ages and sizes of dogs that they do best around? 2) What is their energy level and how do they handle different temperatures and weather? 3) What are their food restrictions; 4) What are their favorite toys and games

A typical day

I like to find parks near the owner's home and incorporate those social times into our daily walk schedule (assuming the dog plays well with other pets). In high heat months, I prefer to keep the walking radius close to the pet's home, but I enjoy finding spaces where the dog can play their favorite games.

I have a flexible daytime schedule and can accommodate most weekday hours. I am available to stay over at clients' homes during weekdays, since I have a partner who can tend to our own dog overnight. I am similarly available on weekends but sometimes travel.
