Pet care experience
I have taken care of dogs with many different backgrounds and needs. I have three pets of my own and have fostered fifteen dogs in the past year. Breeds in my at home care have included rat terrier, chihuahua, yellow & black lab, dachshund, yorkie, boxer, shih tzu, cocker spaniel, doodle, and pit bull. Of those breeds I have taken care of dogs as young as 10 weeks to 15 years old. It’s important to me that your pet experiences enrichment activities while you’re away such as Kong toys, lick mats, puzzle boards, exercise, and snuffle mats. I also offer dog day care and overnight boarding in my home. My pets are welcoming of other pets and are familiar with new dogs coming into our home. I see dogs and cats as more than just pets. They are our pride and joy. Your pet deserves the best care in town. I promise to spoil your dog rotten, keep them in their routine, and help them stay active while you’re away.

I have a large fenced in yard. My home has three different crate units (Small, Large, & XXL). I also have a play pen for indoor use which allows your pet to be safely contained without being restricted to a crate. All dogs will be divided when crated. I also have live cameras in each crate area to ensure safety. My three fur babies will be sure to make your pet feel right at home. My dogs love to play with other dogs. They are smaller dogs, so you can be sure that there are no items ever accessible for chewing. No animal will be let out at large outside of the fence. I have collars, harness, & leashes if sitter pickup/drop off is necessary. Your pet will be allowed on furniture and on the bed. I only feed dog food and grain-free treats. Lick mats and Kongs will be filled with blueberries, bananas, and xylitol-free peanut butter. I love giving pupsicles on hot days. I also have a small wading pool for those extremely hot days. Ice water is always provided outside.

Please let me know if there are any special accommodations that your dog may have (medications, prone to accidents, vision problems, allergies). I want to be prepared as possible for your pride and joy. Being away from home can be difficult for your pet and it’s my job to give them their own little vacation.
A typical day
First thing in the morning is good morning kisses and a bathroom break. After 20-30 minutes of outdoor play (weather permitting) it’s breakfast time! Once their bellies are full there will be a time period of indoor play with an assortment of plush, ball, and tough toys. Bathroom breaks will be permitted at any time your pet goes to the door or every hour. Dogs who prefer outdoor play will be provided with a fenced in area shaded by trees. We will play fetch, eat treats, and sunbathe. Dog house is also present and covering under deck. There is also two large umbrellas shading the deck. Some days, puzzle food boards or lick mats are provided for enrichment. Dogs will have a second feeding between 5-7PM. Indoor play typically lasts between 8-10PM. I do allow dogs to sleep in the bed for lots of snuggles. If you have night crate requirements, I will be happy to tuck them in at night. I have three size options (S, L, XXL).

Availability
I work remotely in my home on Thursdays & Fridays. I am off every Saturday & Sunday. My husband and I work opposite schedules, so your pet will never be alone any day of the week! My schedule allows me to incorporate multiple visits per day if needed as well as walks. All four days (Thurs.,Fri, Sat, & Sun). I can provide care in my home as well.
