Pet care experience
My name is Casey and I am a 24 year old nursing student at Seton Hall. My dog's name is Walter. He is a 2.5 year old shih tzu who loves other dogs. I have had dogs and cats my entire life. I have had dogs as large as 90 pounds and dogs as small as 12 pounds. I love animals and I will treat your pets as if they were my own. I'm available for regular petcare or as needed. I am new to Rover but I am not new to pet care. I can provide references from friends, previous employers, and my veterinarian if needed. If left with me for the day, I can take your dogs to places like parks and hiking trails if you want to make sure they get enough exercise. I am a marathon runner so for any clients with high energy pups that need to go on a run, I'm your girl! I can drop in to give dogs food, treats, and medication as well if needed, or briefly let them out in the backyard. I am comfortable staying in your house overnight with your dog, or having your dog stay over my house. I have flexible availability 7 days a week including holidays.

Casey and I have been friends since our freshman year in high school. Ten years later, and Casey has always had a pet in her life. In high school she had Brandy, a large mixed bread puppet. Casey loves Brandy so much and had her since she was in the fourth grade. When Brandy unfortunately passed, Casey adopted Buca, a beautiful lab mix. Buca and Casey were always together at the dog park and on long walks around the neighborhood. Recently Casey got Walter, a small shih-tzu who goes everywhere with her. My dog and Walter are the same age and go for walks together with Casey and I frequently. Casey has watched my dog, Roxi, while I am out of town on business frequently. She always is responsible and caring and Roxi has a blast with her and Walter and Casey’s cat, Diablo. Both Walter and Diablo have some health problems that Casey is extremely attentive to. She is always giving them their medications on time and hyper aware of their allergies. I would trust Casey over anyone with my pet!
Casey has a gorgeous dog of her own that almost lives the life of a young teenager in today’s world. Not only is she persistent with treatment to her cute Walter but she is also the same way with every other dog I have seen her around. She’ll be so great!

A typical day
My dog Walter's favorite spot is the Ramapo reservation in Mahwah. If you trust me with your dog(s), I can bring him/her/them somewhere they are used to, or some place new. I love to explore new hiking trails, dog friendly beaches, and other dog-friendly outdoor areas. We can go to the dog park and play fetch, go hiking and swimming, or just walk around the neighborhood.
