My experience with Casey was very disappointing. We had great communication the morning and afternoon the first day of the booking; however, it went down hill from there. She stated she would be stopping by between 6 and 6:30 pm on Friday, but I never received confirmation she had stopped by to check and walk my dogs. Two hours went by and still no notification. I message her to see if she had a chance to stop by... and still no response. I messaged again 30 minutes later, still not response. I call her twice to see if she had stopped by and her phone went straight to voicemail. I called Rover support, explained the situation, and they also tried calling her, as well as her emergency contact, but with negative results. I freaked out because it had been seven hours since my dogs have been let outside and it was getting close to the time my elderly dog needed his medication for seizures. I try to keep him on a strict schedule for his doses because if he goes too long without his medication, he seizes. I was hundreds of miles away, so there was no way for me to check on my dogs and make sure they were ok. I didn't receive a message from her until 12:30 am that night explaining that her phone was dead. So six hours go by from the time she was expected to check on my dogs before I received any sort of response. I felt that I had no choice but to cancel the booking because I didn't want my dogs peeing or pooping in the house while I was gone. I'm very frustrated by the situation because I don't understand why someone would wait that long to charge their phone once they realized it was dead, especially when they are supposed to be taking care of someone else's dogs. Most people have a phone charger in their car to charge their phone to prevent these sort of situations from happening.

Casey is a totally reliable and loving petsitter. She is also completely capable in handling any sort of animal. We have 3 large, very active Belgian Malinois, one feisty Siamese and an extremely skittish Himalayan who needs newspaper outside the cat box due to poor aim. Casey handled them all with the right combination of firmness and love. She also vacuumed my house! (though for that I paid extra.)
