Couple Who Loves Spoiling Pups!
Pet care experience
About Me I'm Casey, and my significant other Steve, and I love taking care of pets! I have always had family dogs (where my adoration of dachshunds stems from) and I have details about my own pets below. I have experience with dogs of all ages, and many demeanors. I enjoy walking, playing, and cuddling with dogs of all shapes and sizes. I don't mind cleaning up the occasional mess when necessary. I'm intuitive and pride myself on being able to easily read a dog's mood. Additionally, I previously worked with service dogs and so have experience with maintaining training and encouraging positive behaviors. What I Offer I'm very flexible, and willing to consider any suggestion you make. I provide boarding in my home, and Steve and I arrange our work schedules to make sure someone is home with the pups more often than not. If you have any questions, or wish to discuss a concern, please feel free to contact me! Happy puppies are my priority. About My Dogs Rascal is the demon child that I am raising with my partner. We picked her up at 8 weeks, and know both of her parents. She gets to visit them regularly. She is high energy and loves to play, so we go out on hikes and adventures often. She's still learning her manners, but has been doing great with her training! Scamp has the same goldendoodle dad, and a different mom as Rascal. She's very gentle and precious and loves to cuddle hard-core. Champ is our long term foster that we are taking care of for a friend. While her housing situation is unstable, we are caring for him indefinitely. He's got a fair bit of energy, but quickly chills into a couch potato. Doodle was the love of my life. I had her as my personal dog for about 4 years, and she passed at roughly 10 years old. She was originally at a shelter for more than a year, then rescued by a family who kept her until discovering their young son's severe allergy. I had her the rest of her life, and would still send her previous family pictures regularly. She acted like a 3 year old, and was intelligent and emotionally protective of her "pack", i.e. me and my partner. Duke, my family dog, is approximately 15 years old, and is a rescue that we have had for 11 years. Duke came to us as a very skittish, fearful animal, having had a not so pleasant puppyhood. I have worked with him extensively to relieve most of his fears and anxieties. He is now a much happier, confident dog. His sister, Penny, passed but as she got older she needed some extra help. I learned to read her cues to make sure she was always comfortable.
Reviews
Please never leave your fur babies with this sitter!! I left my 7 pound Morkie to be cared for by her and she let him run away! He wasn’t in her care for 24 hours and she lost him! My Husband and I have been looking for him now for hours and she’s in the comfort of her home with her dogs! If I could have given her zero stars I would have but the website wouldn’t allow me to leave a review without submitting at least one star!
Casey was very communicative starting from the moment we booked our pet's stay. She was flexible when we needed to adjust our dates, and sent updates during his stay. Thanks Casey!
Casey always does a wonderful job with our dog, Bella. Casey is also so accommodating when things come up and is always willing to help out when we need her.
Casey was very informative while Rita was with her and she sent several pictures and messages. Thank you Casey

Information Casey B. would like to know about your pet
I have some questions to go over prior to meeting your dog. Such basics as eat, sleep, and play routines, as well as behaviors and training. Every dog is different, and this helps me tailor my approach for your pup. I'd also like to introduce my dogs to yours in advance, and in the case they don't get along I can easily keep them separated. It is important that we have an emergency contact that can make decisions regarding your pet in case of a medical emergency, as well as the information of your regular vet and preferred emergency vet.
A typical day
I'm flexible, and willing to adapt to whatever your dog specifically needs, within the training style that you have set. Dogs are a part of the family, and I will treat yours just the same. I'll spend as much time as you would like me to with your dog, going for walks, playing with them, and lounging with them as they see fit. I actually prefer to sleep with a cuddly pup, and frequently they'll join me in the bed while Steve sleeps on the couch because of his back. We have a large mostly fenced backyard and it is perfect for running around on a 20ft leash (at least until we can finish securing it!). There are also wonderful trails within walking distance for longer walks, and a dog park down the street!
