Reliable, responsive and loving puppy sitter
Pet care experience
Giving your dog a wholesome and fun experience that suited to their individual needs is at the top of my priorities. Ensuring that your dog is well cared for and understood comes first. I love getting to know my clients (the humans and the dogs alike) and will always share status updates with you during a booking. If you book a house sitting you’ll soon find out how much I love cleaning 🧼🫣 every owner will always come back to find their home as clean as they left it or even better! Owning a chipper and rather mischievous miniature schnauzer puppy, Juno. I have experience in caring for both lively puppies and some of our more mature canine friends, loving both experiences equally. Having little furry friends to accompany me on woodland walks or simply a stroll down the road always brings a smile to my face. You can be certain that your dog will be in safe hands, whether that be enjoying a leisurely walk or getting the mental stimulation they may need with a game of fetch or learning a new trick. Getting to know your dog and guaranteeing their safety and enjoyment is the most important thing to me. If you are unsure about leaving your beloved pet in my care, I am more than happy to arrange a meet and greet in person before a booking, or alternatively to arrange a phone call where we can discuss you and your pets needs.

Would highly recommend, was accommodating at last minute and uploaded photos of walk. Would use again. Thank you.☺️

Carys is a fantastic dog walker. Our dog fell in love with her from the moment they met. We always receive detailed updates with lots of pictures and we trust Carys to collect Dea while we are away at work. We would wholeheartedly recommend her!
Carys is just great- amazing communication, takes initiative and really goes above and beyond with Riley! She’s reliable, on time and super friendly :)

For 30-minute doggie walks, I bring my own car where I will park near your home and take your dog on a local adventure. Longer 1-hour walks offer the opportunity for me to take your furry friend in the car to go on a woodland adventure. Please note that your dog will be in the boot behind a dog fence and secured with a built-in lead for safety. My interests in animal behaviour therapy have lead me to learning the trust technique. During pet sitting, I relish the opportunity to use the trust technique with your dog in the safety of their own home so that they can feel as relaxed and comfortable with me caring for them whilst you’re away from home. I will send updates throughout the day with photos and messages (let me know how often you would like) so you can enjoy your time away from home knowing that your doggies friend is happy and well cared for.
Information Carys H. would like to know about your pet
It’s good to know how they are with other dogs, what their recall is like (on or off lead). Any medication, allergies, triggers, favourite games and of course if they are allowed treats or not.
A typical day
As you can probably tell, attention to detail is important to me. Therefore, no day is typical. Every dog and their owner is different and I not only acknowledge this but enjoy being able to provide the unique experience you are looking for. No information is too much. Let me know what your dog loves, where they like to go and what they love to do (and what they don’t like) and I will do my best to accommodate for you.
